New Bible Study Courses

Two new Bible Study courses will be starting soon.

Tuesday Morning - beginning November 18th

This will be an 11 week course and focus on the Letter of James, one of the letters found in the New Testament, and how the wisdom found within it applies to our lives.  For anyone striving to live a truly Christian life, the Letter of James offers a wealth of practical solutions for handling and even sanctifying everyday circumstances.  This course was offered on Thursday evenings last year.

Thursday Evening - beginning December 4th

This course will be a 20 in duration and focus on Catholic Church history.  It organizes Church history into twelve easy to remember time periods clearly identifying the main events though the ages, and explaining how the Popes, Martyrs, Saints and Doctors of the Church created Western civilization.

Each session is 1 hour and 30 minutes and features a 50-minute video presentation by Jeff Cavins, an internationally known biblical scholar and teacher.  The course is held in the St. Francis of Assisi Parish Center Media Room (above the Religious Education office).

Newcomers form ANY parish are welcome!  You do not need to have attended previous Bible study classes to attend.
