Francis Activity Committee
The Activities committee is
responsible for organizing parish events and activities. Such as the parish picnic, Feast of St. Francis dinner and
fellowship hour. New ideas for parish gatherings are always welcomed.

Coffee and Bagel Fellowship Hour
Stay after or come early! Join other parish families between the 9:30 and
11:30 Masses for a cup of coffee or tea, enjoy a light breakfast and some good conversation downstairs in the parish hall. Baked
goods or helping hands are always appreciated!
The
parish welcomes sponorship of this weekly Coffee and Bagel Fellowship Hour by our Catholic Communities. Currently different
CCD classes take turns hosting the 4th Sunday of the month Fellowship Hour during the school year. The 50/50 Club
hosts the coffee hour on the 2nd Sunday of the month.
During the months of July and August only the 50/50 Club coffee and raffle are held on the 2nd Sunday.

50-50 Club
This group coordinates the monthly
50-50 raffle drawing. Tickets are available at all of the weekend Masses. The winning ticket is drawn on the 2nd
Sunday of the month after the 9:30 am Sunday Mass. Join them in the parish hall for coffee and the drawing, this takes
place every month of the year.

Father's Day Raffle
The annual Father's Day is coordinated by the 50/50 Club. Tickets go on sale in the spring and the
raffle is takes place on Father's Day.

CYO Basketball (Catholic Youth Organization)
Parish based basketball teams for boys and girls grades 3 to 8. This traveling
league focuses on the fundamentals of basketball, good sportsmanship and team play. If you are interested in forming
a team, contact Mr. Morales.
A Grade 6
girls basketball team is currently being formed for fall/winter 2010. If you would like to participate or would
like more information about this team contact us.

Communion Breakfast
The parish
holds an annual Communion Breakfast in the spring of each year. Communion Breakfast for 2012 is scheduled for Sunday,
April 29th! Save the date and bring the family.
The breakfast buffet includes: orange and grapefruit juices, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, ham, homefries, rolls, danish
pastries, coffee, tea and milk. The cost for the breakfast is $10 for adults and $5 for children under 10 years of age.
This breakfast was not a fundraising event, but simply an opportunity for our parish family to share the Eucharist and fellowship.
At the breakfast we are always graced by a wonderful speaker.

Parish Picnic
Each year the parish hold a picnic for fellow parishioners
and their families in June at the Teahouse in Leonard Park from 1:00 pm - 4:00pm.
Watch the bulletin for this years date to be announced. Hamburgers, Hot Dogs and beverages
will be provided. Parishioners are asked to bring a side dish or salad to share.
There will be fishing and fun for the kids. Hope you can can stop by....the picnic is a great way
to meet other parish members. Extra help is always welcomed.
